The California Department of Education has named the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District as a 2024 California Green Ribbon School District Sustainability Honoree.
The District is pleased to offer FREE MEALS to ALL TK-12 students in the District for the 2023-2024 School Year. Application is not required.
Elementary Breakfast will be offered during recess. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria during lunchtime. Intermediate Breakfast will be offered before school. Second chance breakfast will also be available during lunch to be taken home for the following day. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria during lunchtime. High School Breakfast will be available all day. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria during lunchtime.
All meals include a main entrée, milk, and seasonal fruit and vegetable offering. Water and milk will be available for cashless sale.
While applications are not required for these meals, families are still encouraged to apply for the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program for other household benefits such as discounted testing, summer school, home utilities, and bus passes.
